Conservator, GS-1001-13 Specialty in Objects - Presidential Libraries The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) The National Archives and Records Administration has a position open for an objects conservator, to work primarily with the diverse collections and holdings of the Presidential Libraries nationwide. The incumbent will serve as a technical expert in the preservation and conservation of a wide range of museum and archival objects, such as decorative arts, textiles, wooden artifacts and paintings. This is an administrative position, with wide-ranging responsibilities for developing policies and procedures for a nation-wide program. The appointment will be made at the GS 13 level, with a salary range of $66,229 to $86,095 per annum. Applications must be in by May 22nd.
