Paintings fellowship Carnegie Museum of Art The Carnegie Museum of Art is offering a one-year post-graduate paintings conservation fellowship, funded by the NEA. Start date is fall 2002. The successful applicant will assist with the examination, treatment and documentation of paintings wanted for exhibit and loan. At the same time, to better serve the needs of the public and the long-term preservation of the collection, the Museum is embarking upon major renovation and expansion projects, and a new collections management system. The conservation Fellow will be part of these dynamic projects. The fellowship is $27,000 including a travel stipend, with possibility of renewal for a second year (pending funding). As with all grants and stipends in the United States, funds and benefits may be taxable. Graduates from recognized training programs or candidates with equivalent training would be considered. Applicants should have no more than five years of work experience.
