Assistant Conservator, Generalist and Assistant Conservator, Paintings and Contemporary Art Restoration Conservation Laboratory National Gallery of Canada Assistant Conservator, Generalist Restoration Conservation Laboratory Determinate appointment until January 30, 2003. Full time 37.5 hours per week. Salary: from $45,283 to $53,469 per annum. Language Requirements: Knowledge of the English language is essential for this position. Your Challenge: You will carry out examinations, preventive and remedial treatments on NGC paintings, contemporary art, sculpture and decorative arts; contribute to safe display, storage and movement (handling and transit) of works of art; examine works of art in other collections as required. Perform other related duties. Education: A successful completion of a recognized post-secondary school training program in conservation or the equivalent in training and experience.
