The Preservation Trades Network (PTN) and the Vandalia Heritage
Foundation are holding the 6th Annual International Preservation
Trades Workshop August 2-4, 2002 in Fairmont, West Virginia

PTN's annual event--the IPTW-- features demonstrations, exhibits and
seminars in many areas of the historic preservation trades. PTN has
been instrumental in building a worldwide community of
preservationists who share a hands-on knowledge of the process of
historic preservation. This year's event is co-hosted by the
Vandalia Heritage Foundation. Vandalia's mission is to promote
historic preservation and redevelopment throughout northern West
Virginia.

This year's presenters and demonstrators are from the U.S., Canada,
Scotland, England, France and Poland.

IPTW-2002 will be held on the High-Level Bridge in Fairmont, West
Virginia, overtop of the Monongahela River. The bridge will be
closed to traffic during IPTW-2002 and tents will be set up to
accommodate the activities. Classroom sessions will be held in the
Marion County Courthouse that is one block off the bridge. For a
