Advanced Conservation Technician or
Assistant Conservator
The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC)

The Northeast Document Conservation Center, located in Andover,
Massachusetts, 25 miles north of Boston, seeks an advanced
technician or assistant conservator to work in its paper
conservation laboratory. This is a full time position, for one year
with an good possibility of renewal. It is available right away and
will remain open until filled.

The successful candidate will treat a variety of unbound materials
including printed documents, manuscripts, maps, architectural plans,
and works of art on paper. He or she should have at least two years
of experience at the bench. This person must be energetic, flexible,
and productive with a strong interest in hands-on work and good
communication skills. A willingness to work on oversized materials
would be a decided advantage. . NEDCC offers the opportunity to
spend much time at the bench in a spacious laboratory with highly
skilled and friendly colleagues. The position comes with an

commensurate with experience.
