Another 3M product which Jerry Fahey might wish to look at is
"465",a medium-firm completely clear acrylic adhesive transfer tape
product. We offer this item in a 25 mm (1") by 55 metre roll length.

"465" was designed as an alternative to the many harmful off-gassing
hot melt adhesive systems in use,as a more conservation friendly
system for adhering polyethylene foam products such as plastazote
and ethafoam to other substrates.

"465" has excellent UV light resistance and a high solvent
resistance, it can be used to bond similar and dissimilar materials
such as metals, glass and plastics together.

It does have to be remembered that unlike other adhesive systems
"465" is not easily reversible in the normal manner.

For a sample and further size details contact either our location
here in the UK or Conservation Resources International, Springfield,
Virginia.
