It aims to provide comprehensive coverage of literature in key areas of conservation and technical examination. Papers are welcomed on all disciplines relevant to conservation, including practical treatment, materials, technical art history, scientific research, conservation ethics etc. As a review journal, each paper offers a critical overview of what is published, surveying the current state of knowledge that exists within any given field while suggesting directions for future research. Papers are peer-reviewed and the Editorial Board includes leading conservators and scientists from around the world.
