Subject: Call for papers--AIC Architecture Specialty Group
ASG call for papers The Architecture Specialty Group of the American Institute for Conservation invites submissions for papers for the 2003 Annual Conference. Papers concerned with the general theme of the conference, "The History, Philosophy, and Ethics of Conservation," are welcome. There will also be a session on concrete; suggested topics include concrete development, chemistry, structure, finishing, deterioration, repair, etc. In the afternoon, there will be a "tips" session with 5-10 minute presentations. "Tips" can be for research or documentation, observations of new products, useful tools or working methods, lessons learned from product failures, and creative solutions to problems. Please send a short abstract (250 words) of the proposed paper or tip to me by November 1, 2002. If you have any questions, please call or email me.
