Subject: Watered silk endpapers
I would like to know if somebody can give me an advice how to take off and repaste water silked end papers from book boards. This typical 19th century endpaper is very sensitive to mechanical force if it is humid from water or humidity. Because of its embossed pattern it is equally sensitive to pressure while repasting to the boards.
