In my new book, "Fungal Facts; solving fungal problems in heritage
collections" there is a section on a suggested nomenclature for
spots on paper including some photos. The identification can be done
with 10X magnification found in a dissecting microscope or
stereoscopic microscope or even a visor. The book is available from
Archetype Publications Ltd. in London UK.
