Subject: Laropal A81
I noticed that in July this year Conservation Resources (U.K.) Ltd. began offering a urea-aldehyde resin called "Laropal A81", that I have not heard of before. Have conservators used this as a varnish on paintings? Has anyone done any aging tests done on it? Might it have better aging characteristics than Laropal K80?
