Getty Post-Graduate Internship in Objects Conservation Oriental Institute Museum, University of Chicago The Oriental Institute Museum, University of Chicago is pleased to offer a one-year post-graduate internship in the conservation of archaeological materials. The Getty Conservation internship program is supported by The Getty Grant Program and the Luther I. Replogle Foundation. The 12-month position will provide the intern with the opportunity to work on the restoration of monumental large-scale stone reliefs as well as a variety of smaller archaeological objects from the ancient Near East. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to carry out a research project to be mutually decided upon. The internship includes a stipend of $26,430 plus benefits. An additional $3,500 is available for travel and research. As required by the Getty Grant Program, eligible candidates must be graduates of a recognized masters-level conservation training program who will have graduated within 3 years of application.
