We will be discussing techniques, tools (and maybe some tricks) for
the management of reformatting projects. Lara Unger, Reformatting
Supervisor for the University of Michigan Libraries, will give a
presentation of the database used by Preservation Reformatting
Services at the University of Michigan to track their imaging
projects and Erica Behler, Project Manager for Preservation
Microfilming at OCLC Digital and Preservation Resources, will
discuss the in's and out's of working with a vendor in planning and
implementing a reformatting project.
