Conservation Scientist The British Museum 23 month contract Salary 23,000 UKP You will join the Department of Conservation, Documentation and Science, working in the Conservation Science and Analytical Chemistry Group and reporting to the Head of Group. You will have a knowledge of corrosion science and/or ferrous metal chemistry which you will use to carry out a project designed to investigate post excavation deterioration and storage of archaeological iron objects. The project will involve liaison with both conservators and curators of archaeological iron and other scientists in the Museum, and dissemination of the outcome through publication and presentation.
