Conservator National Air and Space Museum The National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution is seeking a GS-1001-11 conservator to assist the NASM Chief Conservator with technical and administrative duties of the NASM Conservation Unit including artifact examination and treatment, environmental monitoring and report preparation. The position is presently located at the Paul E. Garber Facility in Suitland, MD. Duties presently include preparing collections for exhibit at the Steven Udvar-Hazy Center located at Dulles International Airport. A new conservation laboratory is planned for the Udvar-Hazy Center.
