Eighth Joint Forum for Conservation Issues Mary Sumner House Westminster 3 November 2004 **** Moderator's comments: Please respond directly to the author. On Wednesday 3 November 2004 the eighth Joint Forum for Conservation Issues will be held at Mary Sumner House, Westminster, focusing on the subject of easel paintings. The forum will consider the role of painting in churches and the issues to consider for their long term care and conservation of paintings and frames. Those attending will include experts in the field, painting conservators, DAC secretaries and other DAC representatives, together with representatives of the Council for the Care of Churches, English Heritage, the Heritage Lottery Fund and other relevant organisations. The day will afford the opportunity to discuss both the general principles involved and specific questions. There will be ample time for debate and discussion. The cost of UKP35.00 for the day includes lunch and light refreshments.
