Applications are invited for a Lecturer post in the conservation of
artefacts.  The Lecturer will be required to supervise research
students and to undertake original research.  The appointee will be
expected to teach in the MA in "Principles of Conservation" and the
MSc in "Conservation for Archaeology and Museums", and will be
expected to contribute to the Museum Studies MA course on
collections care.

The successful applicant must be able to research and teach both
conservation philosophy and conservation practice. The successful
applicant's specialisation may be in any field, but experience in
the conservation of organic materials and organic chemistry may be
an advantage. Salary will be in the range Lecturer A/B, currently
UKP23,643 to UKP35,883 plus UKP2330 London Allowance per annum.
