Columbia University's Avery Architecture Library has a large collection of vintage catalogs in their Classics collection. I recommend seeing if you can access the Avery Index online at the Columbia University website. If not, call the Avery reference librarian; they are usually very helpful. Perhaps they can help you access the index online, or look a few things up for you. If you need someone to look at any items found, the Preservation Department would likely have a student eager to do some interesting research for a minimal fee.
