The Washington Conservation Guild presents the 7th Meeting of the 2004-2005 Season "The Curious Art of the Secret Fore-edge Painting: An illustrated lecture by Martin Frost Over the last 35 years, British book artist Martin Frost has painted over 3,000 book-edges. The illustrated lecture will describe the genesis and progress of this little known form of book decoration. Examples from the artista's collection and his tools will also be on display.
