MS201: Storage for Infinity: An Overview of Museum Storage Principles Instructor: Helen Alten Dates: April 4 - May 13, 2005 The Northern States Conservation Center <URL:http://www.collectioncare.org> is pleased to announce a repeat of its popular first online class: 'Museum 201: Storage for Infinity' scheduled to start Monday April 4th and run through Friday, May 13th, 2005. This course concentrates on storage philosophy and planning, collections handling, materials and techniques for storing collections. The course will last for four weeks and cover all the details needed to plan or improve a storage area to meet current preservation standards. This course will include handouts, on-line literature, slide lectures, and student-teacher/group-teacher dialog. The course is limited to 20 participants.
