Subject: Bleached cap tissue
Has anyone heard of an acid-free paper substitute called MG bleached cap tissue? I have a huge amount of it in my museum, inherited from my predecessor, and wonder if it is safe to use in the same way as acid-free paper? **** Moderator's comments: MG= machine glazed. Cap is sometimes used to refer to foolscap (folio size) but that doesn't seem apt here (unless these are indeed fairly modest sized sheets) Emma Herrity Cultural Officer D.H.
