Conservator - Time-based Media Tate Starting salary: UKP21,000 pa This is an opportunity to join a small committed team working in a new area of conservation. Your role will involve developing conservation plans for time-based media works of art involving video, film, audio, slide and computer based elements. You will have special responsibility for displays and loans of time-based media works across all Tate sites, in particular the preparation of Collection works for display. You will need a recognised qualification in conservation, or equivalent training. You will have excellent influencing and project management skills and be able to demonstrate how your professional experience has equipped you to make decisions and work effectively within a complex environment. We recognise that this new field of conservation is not included in conservation training. Therefore, as well as a keen interest in this emerging field of conservation, you will need the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast changing environment.
