Chief Furniture Conservator Associate Furniture Conservator Chicago Conservation Center Chief Furniture Conservator The Chicago Conservation Center is expanding its Furniture Department and is seeking a Chief Furniture Conservator to manage the daily treatment schedule and operations of The Center's department. The successful candidate will oversee a Senior Furniture Conservator as well as an Associate Furniture Conservator. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in all aspects of the structural stabilization of historic furniture, original surface recovery, de-restoration and the preservation of original surfaces. In addition to excellent woodworking skills, candidate must possess strong documentation and communication skills.
