We find the Elsec 764 datalogger great for spot checks in galleries, because it is so useful to have one piece of equipment to record light,UV, temperature and RH. The cost is unnecessarily high, though, for longer term monitoring. Hanwell make standalone dataloggers, and a Radio Telemetry system which we would certainly recommend. The quality of the hardware is important to us, as well as the cost, and these dataloggers are very finely calibrated. The batteries last approximately 18 months, depending on how frequently you set them to record data. Has anyone used a Hanwell system which has been configured to work with the Climate Notebook, as I understand this is possible?
