Principal Conservator, Artefact Conservation Position at National Museums of Scotland <URL:http://www.nms.ac.uk> UKP28,260 - UKP35,897 per annum plus final salary or stakeholder pension You will manage and develop the Artefact Conservation Section, and hold a key role in planning the preservation, exhibition and loan of NMS's wide ranging artefact collections. An expert conservator, you will lead, manage and participate in the practical conservation, research and other activities of the Section, ensuring best practice in all conservation issues. You will have a relevant degree (or equivalent), plus a professional conservation qualification and at least 10 years' relevant work experience, and should be accredited. An excellent communicator with proven research and publication ability, you will be a successful manager of staff and projects, and will have good ICT skills.
