12 months fixed term contract
Scale 1 UKP11,619 per annum

This is a unique opportunity funded by Yorkshire Museums Libraries
and Archives Council (YMLAC) for a motivated individual to gain
experience within archive conservation.

This post will give the candidate practical experience of archive
conservation in a well established conservation facility at North
Yorkshire County Council's Record Office

You will learn the basic principles of archive conservation and gain
hands on experience of a wide range of techniques and skills.

You will preferably be educated to at least A level standard with a
Science GCSE and be able to demonstrate a high degree  of manual
dexterity and practical craft skills. Candidates due to achieve A
levels this year will be considered.
