Subject: Mold
A collection of 16th century wills came to us with an advanced infestation of powdery black mould. After removal of the spores (with due precautions, of course), the mould staining still obscures the text. Washing, in either cold water or hot, won't shift it. Does anyone know of a way to get dense black mould out of the fibres of paper? Mrs. D.
