Assistant Paper Conservator: Photographic Materials Bristol's Museums, Galleries and Archives Bristol Grade 10 UKP23,952 to UKP26,928 We seek an organised, motivated conservator with creative and flexible problem solving skills to carry out identification, re-storage and first aid treatment of photographic materials. The work is part of our Designated Challenge Fund project to open up an underused collection of photographic images that form part of the museums' outstanding local history collections. You will work with a wide variety of museum staff and outside specialists and must enjoy using your communication skills to forge constructive relationships with them all. You must also welcome the responsibility of managing your own time and devising your own solutions to conservation problems. You will have a degree from a recognised conservation training programme, or similar experience, and ideally two to three years post training experience. Experience within a museum work environment will be seen as an advantage. As Assistant Conservator you will be part of a growing and lively conservation department which values colleagues with a co-operative and positive outlook.
