Salary: UKP23,250 pa

We have two opportunities for experienced Conservators to join our
team to cover maternity leave. Your role will involve examining,
treating and documenting works of art on paper in a range of media.
You will provide support to Tate programmes, participating in
programme teams advising on conservation issues for display,
collection care, storage and transportation. Ref 6014/TC

Sculpture Conservator
Salary: UKP23,250 pa full-time (or pro rata 4 days per week)

    Working 4 or 5 days per week you will advise on the display,
    collection care and storage of sculptures in a range of media as
    well as examine, restore and ensure they are properly
    documented. The role will include assessing and examining new
    sculpture acquisitions for the Collection and works required for
    display at Tate Modern. ref 6015/TC

For both roles you will need to hold a recognised postgraduate
qualification or equivalent training in the relevant conservation
discipline with at least three years' experience. Organisational,
communication and analytical skills are essential for these roles.
You will need to be able to work independently on conservation
treatments and advise on environmental monitoring and the transport
of art works. Basic word processing and IT skills will also be
necessary.
