Subject: Workshop on recovery of wet materials
The Intermuseum Conservation Association is hosting a workshop November 10-12, 2006: Recovery of Wet Materials Following a Disaster. This course is designed for conservators, curators, collection managers and other museum and library personnel working with mixed collections. The focus of this hands-on course is the management, handling, and care of objects that have become wet because of disaster. The workshop will be taught by conservators, Barbara Moore and M.J. Davis and will be held at the Intermuseum Conservation Association in Cleveland, OH. The cost will be $350 for ICA members and $450 for non-members.
