Project Management and Lead Conservator Services Contract National Museum of Ireland, Dublin The National Museum of Ireland is currently putting the resources in place to commence the conservation of the historic boat "Asgard". This project will begin in October 2006. The first step is to engage a Project Manager and Lead Conservator to deliver the Asgard Conservation Project on behalf of the National Museum of Ireland. The selected contractor will work under the direction and report to the Museum's Head of Conservation and will be responsible for directing and supervising the conservation programme. S/he will have responsibility for a project team of three staff and for keeping the project on target both in terms of timescale and budget. The project will be carried out at the National Museum of Ireland Decorative Arts and History Collins Barracks Benburb Street, Dublin 7 It is estimated that the project will take two years and six months to complete.
