Call for papers
AIC Research and Technical Studies Group

The Research and Technical Studies Specialty Group of the American
Institute for Conservation invites your submissions for papers to be
delivered at the 2007 AIC Annual Meeting, scheduled for April 16-20,
2007 in Richmond, VA. Presentations related to the main conference
theme "Fakes, Forgeries, and Fabrications" are, of course,
particularly welcomed; a focus session on thermoluminescence dating
is being considered. There will also be space on our program for
technical papers from students/young investigators, and a small
honorarium is available to these speakers.

Please send abstracts of approximately 200-300 words no later than
October 1, 2006 copied to both the program chair and
secretary/treasurer, with "abstract: AIC" as the subject line. Email
is greatly preferred over postal mail for correspondence as mail
into Capitol Hill is often curiously delayed. Since the planning
cycle is so very short this year there is much potential fluidity in
the session planning; please do call with your ideas and questions.
