Washington Conservation Guild

The Washington Conservation Guild (WCG) presents the first meeting
of the 2006/2007 season.  Please join us  Thursday October 5, 2006
for a visit to Historic Congressional Cemetery (HCC).

The Cemetery has been the site of two WCG Angels days and ongoing
volunteer efforts by members of the Guild in cooperation with
members of the HCC community. This meeting will be held outside, on
the grounds of the cemetery.  After our reception, we will offer two
tours of the conservation projects and the historical points of
interest on the cemetery grounds. Each tour will be offered twice.
The conservation tour will be led by Catherine Dewey who is the
supervising conservator for the Cemetery and the historical tour
will be led by Patrick Crowley, a board member for the HCC.

5-6pm           reception
5:30-6pm        first tour with Catherine or Patrick
6:00-6:30pm     second tour with Catherine or Patrick

The Historic Congressional Cemetery is located at 1801 E Street SE,
Washington DC 20003 The closest metro: Potomac Ave/ Orange line
