The Hanwell system and the Tinytag loggers are both viable products
(as are Onset's Hobo loggers recommended by another respondent).
There are several other good products also on the market that
probably can be obtained in the U.K.  There is, however, a
substantial difference in the cost of and capabilities of these
loggers.  The main difference is that Hanwell, (and also the Eltek
system that is available in the UK) offer real time monitoring using
radio telemetry to 'beam' the signal back to a central terminal. The
Tinytag (at least the ones that I am familiar with) and Hobo loggers
are stand alone units.  Some types of Hobos can be hard wired
though.

You have to consider the type of space you are monitoring, your
budget and other factors such as battery life number of readings,
software (Mac or PC), etc.  There is a guide to helping you review
