Curator (Conservation) Cutting Edge Heritage: a project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund Salary UKP19,305 - UKP21,450 per annum (Two-year fixed-term contract, 36 hour week) We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to work on this project to conserve, document and make accessible, to a wider public, one of the prime collections at the Museum. A conservator with an interest in or experience of, working with industrial objects is required for conservation work on the coal cutter collection and related objects. The conservator will assess priorities, work with and train engineering and volunteer workers, and provide public workshops as part of the project team. The applicant requires a conservation qualification or substantial conservation experience. All posts are appointed on a progressive scale linked with a performance-appraisal scheme.
