Caroline Villers Research Fellowship Courtauld Institute of Art The Courtauld together with the Trustees of the Caroline Villers Research Fellowship, has established a Research Fellowship in memory of Caroline Villers. The purpose of the Fellowship is to promote research in the interdisciplinary field of Technical Art History--the study, conservation and display of works of art that requires the use of scientific and historical methods to investigate their creation. Research proposals for the Fellowship will be welcomed from researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines that relate to the study and conservation of works of art. The length of project and level of funding will depend on the candidate, their availability and their research proposal. The maximum period of tenure will be 9 months. The Fellow will be based at the Courtauld Institute of Art although collaborations with other institutions will be encouraged. The post holder will also be awarded the title of Associate Scholar in the Courtauld Research Forum. The salary scale will be negotiable in line with academic Terms and Conditions, and commensurate with the experience of the successful applicant. Applicants should hold a post-graduate qualification.
