Subject: Heritage Corrugated Board
Talas <URL:http://talasonline.com> is excited to offer our exclusive Heritage Corrugated Board (see: <URL:http://tinyurl.com/289kv6) Greatly exceeding the quality of other archival corrugated boards on the market today, the Heritage Corrugated Board combines paper which has been manufactured with exceeding permanence qualities, increased strength and rigidity, and the ease of workability. The paper used to manufacture this product passes the following testing: ANSI IT 9.16 / ISO 14523-1999 (PAT test) ISO 9706 Permanency requirements for paper ANSI / NISO Z.39-48-1992 Permanence for paper in Library and Archives Heritage Corrugated Board differs in color from what one may be familiar with compared to the typical blue gray boards available today. The old color was developed to differentiate the product in the marketplace, and the particular color was chosen as one that would be resistant to showing dirt. On our Heritage Corrugated Board we have incorporated the traditional blue-gray color on the outside of the board, with the remainder of the product being made white. This provides the best of both features, where the white side can sit against artwork or items in framing or box making applications, and the blue gray side resides on the outside. Heritage Corrugated Board is offered in sheets in the following formats: B flute (1/8 inch thick) format BB-flute (1/4 inch thick double wall) format BB-flute Cross Laminate (1/4 inch thick double wall) format E-flute (1/16 inch thick) format The E-flute represents the new micro-corrugated market, providing a denser and stronger sheet with light weight. Excellent for making boxes, phase boxes, folders, and lining drawers shelves and other applications.
