Collections Care Specialist Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Applications are being received for a Collections Care Position in the area of Paper Conservation at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Work will be under the direction of the Exhibition Preparation Collections Care Manager and will include producing mats and hinging and framing artwork, using archival quality materials and techniques in accordance with Museum standards; assisting with incoming and outgoing condition reports for works of art on paper; providing support in all aspects of preparing for or dismantling exhibitions; carrying out collections care projects under the direction of the Manager or Conservators; working collaboratively with curators and other Museum staff in carrying out all aspects of the above responsibilities.
