Postgraduate Fellowship in the conservation of British paintings The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art Two-year Postgraduate Fellowship in the conservation of British paintings, based at the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge, UK <URL:http://www-hki.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/>. The Paul Mellon Centre offers a postgraduate fellowship in the examination and conservation of British paintings at the Hamilton Kerr Institute, a department of the Fitzwilliam Museum of the University of Cambridge. Graduates of conservation programmes are eligible to apply. Candidates must have demonstrated research and technical abilities of a high order. It is anticipated that the Fellowship will combine studio practice with research. A programme for the Fellowship will be agreed with the Institute, the Centre and the successful candidate. The Fellowship is offered initially for two years with the possibility of a third year extension. The Fellowship is in the range of UKP22,000 per annum. Starting date by agreement, but not later than January 2008.
