Conservation Art Surveyor Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to survey and document the artwork collection in our renowned Marianne North Gallery. Working with Kew?s own conservator you will be examining the whole collection, assessing what conservation will be required and recording all details ready for work on the collection to start next year. The survey is in support of a Stage 2 Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) bid to refurbish and enhance the Marianne North Gallery and its collection. You will have a graduate qualification, or equivalent experience, in conservation, with a specialism in illustration, preferably oil on paper. This post is supported by a grant from a private supporter and the employment will be for a 12 week period. Salary will be commensurate with experience and in the range UKP16,760 - UKP18,623 per annum pro rata and benefits include a choice of final salary or stakeholder pension, generous annual leave and a stunning work environment.
