Kress Conservation Fellowship, Objects/Textiles Conservation The Arizona State Museum The Arizona State Museum, with funds from the Kress Foundation, is seeking an objects conservator to assist with the conservation of a large collection of artifacts in preparation for installation in an upcoming exhibit entitled "Journeys of Our Ancestors: Migration in the American Southwest". The fellow will work in conjunction with other project conservators and will be responsible for the examination, instrumental analysis, conservation treatment, and documentation of artifacts from the museum's collections. This project will focus primarily on the conservation of organic archaeological materials (basketry and textiles) selected for the exhibit. Graduates from recognized training programs are encouraged to apply. Stipend: $25,000/year plus an allowance for travel related to the project.
