Subject: AIC Scholarships for Latin American and Caribbean conservators--addendum
FAIC has extended the deadline for applications for Latin American and Caribbean Scholarships to attend the AIC Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado in 2008. The Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (FAIC) is working on obtaining financial support to offer scholarships to conservation professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean to participate in the 2008 AIC Annual Meeting. This announcement is posted before the funding is obtained due to the length of time needed to disseminate the information, receive the documentation from applicants, and process the applications. However, this does not imply a commitment by FAIC to give scholarships. Conservation professionals residing in the Caribbean or Latin America with a minimum of three years of experience and currently employed in the conservation field may apply. Note: The applications must be received by FAIC by October 15, 2007. Guidelines are available in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, along with the application form, at <URL:http://aic.stanford.edu/faic/grants/latinamerican.html> Eric Pourchot Professional Development Director American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works 1156 15th Street, NW, Suite 320 Washington, DC 20005 202-452-9545 ext. 5 *** Conservation DistList Instance 21:23 Distributed: Sunday, September 23, 2007 Message Id: cdl-21-23-006 ***Received on Friday, 21 September, 2007
