Correspondence course on chemistry for conservators

IAP Chemistry for Conservators correspondence course
January - April 2008

International Academic Projects is now accepting enrolments for the
January 2008 intake of the Chemistry for Conservators correspondence
course. This course runs twice or three times per year and is taken
by conservators with little knowledge of chemistry or those persons
aspiring to become conservators. Details are at

from September to December 2008 (unless, like last year, due to
demand we add a March course).

Details of other 2008 IAP short courses and seminars (including
various proposed new topics: storage, lapis lazuli; mounting prints
and drawings; deacidification of paper; cleaning surfaces of books
and paper; conservation of leather etc) will be notified in the
