Iron Gall Ink: History and Treatment Workshop at The National Archives/ UK 23-25 October 2006 The three-day event at The National Archives consists of a two and a half day workshop and a half-day symposium. The workshop, organised in cooperation with The Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage (ICN), provides relevant knowledge on history and treatment of iron gall inks and implements current research outcomes. The symposium encourages guest speakers from leading institutions in the UK to present their current research and conservation projects regarding iron-gall inks and ink corrosion.
