Third-Year Conservation Internship in Objects at ICA Intermuseum Conservation Association (ICA) The Intermuseum Conservation Association (ICA) <URL:http://www.ica-artconservation.org>, a regional not-for-profit art conservation center established in 1952, is seeking a Third-Year Conservation Intern in our objects conservation lab located on the Westside of Cleveland, just minutes from downtown. The intern will assist our objects conservators to carry out examinations and conservation treatments on a variety of objects including ceramics, glass, stone, metals, plaster, and plastic; and assist in the preservation planning for the object collections of the ICA's ninety-four institutional and private members. Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate program leading to an advanced degree in Objects Conservation. Terms: The Third-Year Conservation Internship is full time and the start date is negotiable. The internship is available for 10 to 12 months. Two weeks vacation, two weeks sick leave, and two weeks research time are provided for the 12-month position, and prorated for other lengths. Applicants should submit letter of intent, resume, and references. Completed application materials are due in the Intermuseum Conservation Association by December 15, 2007. All applicants will be notified of the ICA's decision by January 15, 2008.
