"Concrete and Cast Stone in the 21st Century: Design, Preservation, and Care of Contemporary and Historic Architecture" Cambridge, MA March 29-30, 2008 This intensive two-day conference sponsored by Technology and Conservation, the MIT Department of Architecture's Building Technology Program, and the Boston Society of Architects/AIA's Historic Resources Committee will be held on the MIT campus in Cambridge, MA, on March 29-30, 2008. This conference will provide valuable, practical information for: architectural conservators object conservators architects engineers building restoration specialists construction specifiers real estate developers construction managers and supervisors campus planners contractors facilities and operations managers government officials responsible for the care, rehab, and/or continued viability of buildings and public art * manufacturers and suppliers of components and systems for the preservation, restoration, repair, and/or maintenance of concrete and/or cast stone.
