National Gallery of Art
Conservation Division

The conservation division of the National Gallery of Art is offering
a paper conservation fellowship supported by the Andrew W. Mellon
Foundation. The three-year fellowship commences in October 2008 and

fellowship will be devoted to conservation treatments at the
National Gallery of Art and research related to the collections. The
fellow will be expected to produce a publishable paper based on his

symposia, and informal discussions contribute to the fellowship
program, as do the significant resources of the Gallery, including
the library, photographic archives, and the scientific research
department.
