Spring Course: Fluid Preservation of biological specimens Norfolk Museums and Archaeology Service Norwich Castle Study Centre Shirehall Market Street Norwich NR1 3JQ 7-10 April, 2008. Registration: UKP250 for the 4 days. Course Aims: This is a four-day largely practical course which will act both as an introduction to fluid preservation theory and practice. It will include how to conserve fragile and deteriorated specimens stored in preserving fluids, cut new glass lids, drill holes in glass, attach fragile specimens to glass and much more. The course is designed to benefit conservators, laboratory technicians and collection managers who wish to learn how to cope with the multitude of problems that such collections can present.
