Glue guns

Low melt glue guns and glue sticks

A number of 3M glue guns (Polygun LT) are in use at the Peabody
Essex Museum.  Some feel they are neither user-friendly nor durable.
Can anyone comment on their experiences with 3M glue guns or
recommend another product?  Also, regarding low-melt glue sticks,
are there some that are more stable/inert than others?  What should
I be looking for, and looking to avoid?
