Subject: Hand painted wallpaper
We have a part of a roll of wallpaper, which is hand painted with what looks like gouache pigment onto heavy weight watercolour paper. The paper is rolled but not tightly. It was found in a 18th Century house. What would be the best way to mechanically clean it? Would it be best to be hinge mounted within a window mount, as it is to be displayed?
